Where do you think they come from?

A hilarious line from one of my favorite movies- "Knocked Up" when Sadie asks her parents "where do babys come from?".  Her mother simply replies with "where do you think they come from?"....

"Well. I think a stork, he umm, he drops it down and then, and then, a hole goes in your body and there's blood everywhere, coming out of your head and then you push your belly button and then your butt falls off and then you hold your butt and you have to dig and you find the little baby."...

I think Sadie's explanation is better than the understanding I have right now of where our baby will come from.  We know (with 99% certainty) that we cannot naturally conceive.  Each visit to the doctor and phone call from the nurse I'm amused and slightly overwhelmed with the "steps" involved with getting "Knocked Up".  So, here's my blog...from the very beginning of this amusing and slightly overwhelming process-with no doubt--a "special touch" from my husband!
